So glad you’re here!

I am a warm, creative, and enthusiastic counselor with a wide range of experience in education, special education, psychology, and child development. I hold a B.A. in Psychology and Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. My graduate focus was mild to moderate special education at Lesley University, and I recently completed my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at ECU.

I am a parent to two young children, and I have worked closely with people diagnosed with a variety of exceptionalities, including ASD, learning disabilities, and attention disorders. I have been nurturing, educating, and supporting children and families for over 15 years. My experience includes working as a personal care assistant, nanny, public school educator, private educator, social emotional learning coach, children’s yoga teacher and mother. I continue to attend workshops, seminars, and professional development events to stay current with research in social-emotional development and supporting families going through a variety of experiences.

When I am not learning, coaching, or nurturing, I enjoy making travel plans, trying new recipes, learning crafts, or writing. I live in Hillsborough, North Carolina, with my husband, Carlo, our two children and cats: Violet and Plum.
